Speed Friending Event!

Who: People who are serious about making friends!

What: An in-person speed-friending event to meet awesome people in the area

Where: Rain City Market, 700 S 3rd St, Renton, WA 98057

When: October 1st, 2022, 6 PM-8 PM.

Why: Because making friends as adults can be challenging and we want to help you create genuine and lasting friendships in our communities!

Early-bird pricing (tickets ordered by September 19th): $20

Full price tickets: $30

Community member subscribers: $15

We are excited to partner with Rain City Market for this event! Rain City Market is a brand new locally-owned business whose owners want to help build community and bring more business into the downtown area!

Important things to consider: 

Arrive on time. I won't want to start without you, but we have lots of connections to squeeze into 2 hours, so we will be on a pretty tight schedule. 

Commitment. The event is being designed for only 50 people. Only commit if you are going to go. 

Please be considerate of colognes or perfumes. We will be in closer quarters and because some people have allergies or sensitivities to scent please apply sparingly.

Be open to getting silly.  We will be doing a few group activities that will help us loosen up and prepare to be ourselves. Come with an open attitude and loose shoulders. 

Hydration: There will be water available. I would encourage you to bring your own reusable container. 

After party: Let's celebrate all our new connections! There will be a few places open in the area nearby for food or drinks after.

For this first event, we will be hosted by Kenneth at his brand new location, Rain City Market. 

I chose to look for an event venue in Renton because I grew up there, love the community, and it's pretty central. People all over WA are looking for friends but our event will mostly reach people on the west side of WA. Just North of Seattle all the way down to Lacey. Plus it's surrounded by cool bars and a karaoke joint for an after-mixer-mixer! We can keep the connection going!
